The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Paddy Iyamu, yesterday carried out an inspection of several school projects in Oredo. During the inspection, he was accompanied by the SUBEB member representing Edo South, Hon. Mrs. Angela Ebiuwa Okpamen, as well as other staff members of the board.
Dr. Paddy revealed that Governor Monday Okpebholo had issued a directive that all pending projects must be completed within one month. He assured the contractors that the necessary funds would be provided for the completion of the projects.
Dr. Paddy urged the contractors to use high-quality materials for their projects and requested that some work be redone to meet the required standards. He emphasized the Governor’s commitment to providing quality education for students, ensuring that their classrooms are conducive for learning.
Dr. Paddy directed the contractors to return to the sites and complete the projects within the specified timeframe.
The Governor’s administration is determined to improve the educational infrastructure in the state and provide a better learning environment for all students.
