New Year: A New Edo Is Rising, Hope Is Here, Says Hon Sino Osawaru

Hon. Sino Eric Osawaru, in his New Year message – “A Hopeful Tomorrow” – to the good people of Ikpoba-Okha local government area and, by extension, Edo State, thanked Edo people for entrusting the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Moday Okpebholo, and His Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, with their votes and support. He expressed gratitude to the governor for his people-oriented policies and programs, saying Edo people feel relieved.

Moreover, Hon. Sino expressed gratitude to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing that the party is sailing in the right direction, not just through the victory in the last election but also through the peace and unity that everyone is enjoying.

Furthermore, he expressed gratitude to the State Working Committee, led by the State Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, and State Secretary, Engr. Lawrence Okah, members of the State Working Committee, the State National Party leaders, as well as state senatorial leaders, LGA leaders, ward leaders, and stakeholders, for their contributions thus far, emphasizing the need for sustainability.

In particular, he promised the people of Ikpoba-Okha local LGA that the year 2025 would be a blissful one. This is a good time to be optimistic, he said, noting that the New Year brings hope, joy, better partnerships, and a hopeful future. He is confident that the government will fulfill its campaign promises.

Having expressed gratitude to party stakeholders for staying focused and keeping faith with the party, he assured that significant progress was being made. He said he would continue to engage government officials and party leaders and appointees of government from the local government to ensure that dividends of democracy reached the grassroots.

As part of his thank you note, Hon. Sino once again thanked party leaders for giving him the opportunity to serve as campaign coordinator in the last election while thanking the LGA executive alongside the ward chairmen and their executives.

In addition, he said that he knew he could make it through everything because of the overwhelming support he received from party members; he thanked them for their amazing support and assured stakeholders that he is willing to continue to serve the party and people as opportunities arise in the future, as well as thank them for giving him such great hope.

He predicted rapid infrastructure growth and development in the local government in 2025, citing one of the government’s first major projects, the Ramat Park flyover bridge. A very significant and strategic physical infrastructure development in Oregbeni is one amongst others, revealing the mindfulness of the Okpebholo-led administration to the local government in particular and the state in general.

Assuring the oil and gas-rich local government of full government presence, he concluded that his initiative, “Sino Osawaru Initiative for Good Governance,” was launched in collaboration with think tanks and leaders of thought in order to harness the brainpower of thought and find ways to always draw the government’s attention to people’s aspirations and yearnings.

In a categorical statement, he emphasized that the initiative would be comprehensive, all-encompassing, and one that is open to suggestions, and that residents should consider the initiative for life projects and support. It is his wish that everyone enjoys a blissful, promising, and fulfilling 2025.

Here’s to another year filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Feel free to pursue your dreams and hopes, and he hopes the year brings a lot of success and that the journey will be wonderful as well. “I hope that this year is filled with the promise of a brighter tomorrow,” he said as the new year begins.
